According to the back of this postcard, Bob Appleton played string bass and trumpet and his permanent address was Shavertown, PA. The postmark isn't readable, but his note on the card indicates he traveled coast to coast playing music after discharge from the service.
Does anyone know something about a bass player named Bob Appleton? Did he play in jazz or dance bands in the 1940s?
