U. R. Owen apparently did a one-person act playing a variety of Stroh instruments including the phonofiddle ("multiphone fiddle").  The back of the postcard indicates it was printed in Switzerland but the message appears to be going to a British booking agent. Does U. R. Owen turn up in anyone's discographies or music hall archives?    <  >   Here's another music hall act with a Stroh one-string phonofiddle.   Has anyone ever heard of Woodward & Page?
